EMERGENCY PLAN FOR HONINGTON & SAPISTON
We are in the process of drawing up a plan which would allow the Village Hall to be used in an emergency as a safe place. The plan identifies the most likely emergencies as fire, flooding, major road accident or serious incident at RAF Honington. The school has already produced its plan giving the hall as their evacuation point. As part of the plan we would like to draw up a list of local residents who could offer help if needed. The categories of help which could be registered with us include first aid/medical training, specific skills such as tree surgery, IT, catering etc. and offers of general assistance such as tea/coffee making, serving meals etc. If you would be willing to appear on a list, to be kept confidentially at the hall, please give your name, contact phone/email and what you could offer to Linda - [email protected]
